Time for Pizza and the park
We had a really long week and the everyone was tired but we still wanted to kind of get out for a bit. Daddy got off work fairly early so we headed to grab pizza at Pizza Guys, we recently discovered this pizza place and we all agree that the price is good and the taste is one of our favorites. I usually will get the specials or use a coupon, I don’t think I have ever paid the actual price. It is one of those pizza places that you don’t eat there, so I got us a liter of Cherry Pepsi and they gave us cups and plates (super convenient) and we drove to the park near our house.
It was a beautiful night, the park was full of families playing and dogs running around. My 4 year old has recently been obsessed with tennis. They must be playing it at preschool because I have never talked to him about it.
So we brought our tennis rackets that haven’t been touched in probably 7 years and found a place to play for a bit after we ate our pizza. It was all fun and games til a puppy pit bull stole our ball and then the game was over. Oh well.
Ice Cream at Mango Crazy
The night was young, next stop was ice cream at Mango Crazy. We like Mango Crazy because it is really close to our house, we can actually walk there and the price is good.
Everyone got a scoop and was happy with their choices except for me. It was my fault. I saw the pineapple one and was thinking it was pineapple sherbet which sounded perfect but it wasn’t at all. It was like a pineapple juice that was frozen, just not what I was wanting. Oh well.
Christopher Robin Movie
Next stop was home. We put the fire on, everyone got into PJs and we rented the new Winnie the Pooh movie, Christopher Robin. Daddy put together one of the girl’s doll beds. Mommy worked on knitting with the other girl while we all watched.
The movie was super cute. We all really liked how it was created. I love how they added the life like stuffed animals to the show and kept their personalities just the same. They even made the stuffed animals worn and dirty! My 4 year old was glued to it and asked to watch it again the next day.
It was a perfect night, spent with the ones we love. We were active, ate, and spent some great quality time.
